Notes: Lambchop was a large baby born to a black Romney mom. He is not supplemented with a bottle, hence is currently untamed. With the others, he is not as 'rough & tumble' as the Jacob babies but is more of a lumbering giant. The others use him to hide behind and he just seems to shake his head and mutter "silly jacob babies - stop playing and start eating!'. Lamb chop was the first to eat hay & grain. His fleece is dense & typical Romney. Would be a great wether for a hand-spinning flock - think of about 8 pounds of wool to hand dye & play with!

Notes: Kathleen is a large, aggressive baby. She is a noisy & clever eater. She'll come up from underneath the other lambs sucking on the bottle, knock them away, and take it for herself. Or she'll latch onto the bottle top and PULL it out of the other lambs mouth. Nothing stands in the way of her eating! She will make an excellent lead ewe and takes no gruff from the others. The other babies are already following her around. She's very confident and should mature out the size of a Romney. Her fleece is unusual - little crimp, very open. she's the only baby with this type of fleece which is not typical of either a Jacob or a Romney. Kathleen is friendly with people and would be a great addition to a spinner flock with her black unusual fleece and her fun personality.

His fleece is just like his father, Trubador, which is spectacular. If you have ewes that are too white, Kenmare would help balance out any offspring.

Notes: Lynnie is a singlet born to our first-bought ewe Ellen. Ellen is an extremely protective mom, so it is hard to catch Lynnie or get too close to her without being butted by Ellen. As a result, Lynnie is a little wild. She can run like the wind and is the highest jumper I've ever seen. She likes to climb on things and launch into the air. With a totally white face (not sure where THAT came from), Lynnie cannot be registered as with the JSBA and her price reflects that, but with Trubador as her dad, her fleece will be great and she will be a low-care self-sufficient addition to a spinners flock.

Notes: Marion is a real sweetie. Very similiar in size to her brother Fergus, Marion is out of our best ewe Pumpkin, who won top honors in Colorado at the Annual Jacob show in 2006. Her father Ashcroft is a stunning 4 horn ram with excellent fleece (although not as fine as Trubadors). Marion is the 2nd best ewe lamb for 2008 and will be staying here in the flock.
